Silk Scarves Round TWO

I am so thrilled at the response these scarves have had! I’ve already sold four of the six I posted on Monday! I am thrilled because that means I can keep painting! I can’t tell you how much fun this has been for me. Yes, I have to do a lot of ironing. I’ve probably ironed more in the past week then I have in 10 years! But it is really a treat to get to paint. I was driving the other day thinking about what I was thinking in February 2007 (when I had my big career crisis breakdown thing). I knew back then that when I retired, I wanted to be painting. And I’ve been doing that for the past week and a half. I’m so thankful.

Here are four new scarves listed on etsy! I’m sorry to tell you that the Cinthie scarf sold this morning to a friend of mine who came over to shop for his wife.

I’m starting on long ones next (15 x 60 in.). It will be another week or so before I get square ones back in stock. Let’s put it this way. I was praying I would be able to sell a few to break even.

If you want a custom scarf, here’s what you do! Email me with request of long or square size, colors, and style-ish. Please reference one of the ones I’ve made by their name so I’ll know what you’re talking about! I’d LOVE to make you one! I plan to start on some St. Patrick’s Day scarves, the first one goes to my grandmother.
